STARVIS TECHNOLOGY

Innodisk’s Low Light Camera Series features Sony’s STARVIS™ sensor technology, which is known for exceptional light sensitivity. This technology converts faint light captured by the sensor into electrical signals, allowing for precise image capture with details and contrast even in dark environments. It is particularly well-suited for outdoor surveillance, factory inspections, and other areas with unstable lighting, providing a reliable visual foundation for backend AI analysis and decision-making.

Innodisk’s Low Light Camera Modules are designed for low-light environments. They feature backside-illuminated (BSI) high-sensitivity sensors to improve light perception and are equipped with advanced Noise Reduction (NR) algorithms to enhance the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). These algorithms reduce noise while preserving edges and details, ensuring clear images in dim conditions. The combined technologies ensure sharp, complete low-light images that improve human visibility and support accurate, reliable AI analysis, making them ideal for applications such as surveillance, transportation, and industrial inspection.

Innodisk’s Low Light Series features a built-in Image Signal Processor (ISP) that automatically adjusts exposure time, gain, white balance, and color performance based on surrounding light conditions. The ISP uses Gamma correction, Local Contrast Enhancement (LCE), and noise suppression to boost brightness in dark areas while reducing noise and minimizing detail loss. This delivers clearer, more natural images for AI analysis under low light. Innodisk also offers ISP tuning and customization for applications such as night surveillance, industrial inspection, and in-vehicle systems, helping customers quickly achieve optimized low-light imaging.
