Taipei 2017/08/28 – Innodisk, the leading provider of industrial and embedded storage and memory solutions, are launching the industry-first embedded DDR4 2666MT/s DRAM series. Available in a variety of form factors, the DDR4 2666-series boasts significantly higher speeds compared to earlier modules, making it the perfect fit for automation, surveillance and network applications. The series fully supports the newly released Intel® Xeon® platform and is intended for the tough requirements of the server market.
Wide Compatibility
In 2017 Intel® released their new Xeon® Scalable Processor Platform for server applications, also widely known as Purley. The platform will meet the growing demands of IoT and cloud-based computing, as well as future challenges of Big Data and artificial intelligence. The Innodisk DDR4 2666 DRAM series will help extract every ounce of performance potential as it is designed to accommodate this new Intel server platform, including the new Intel® Core™ X family of processors.
Reaching a Wider Market
Even though the DDR4 2666-series is intended for server use, its high performing nature also makes it a strong contender for many other vertical markets. It can fulfill the demands of Industry 4.0, where automation applications must deliver quick and reliable data transfer rates; surveillance, which relies on high-speed, on-the-spot data analytics; or network applications, where data integrity is critical.
The New Mainstream Standard
With a data transfer rate of 2666MT/s, the new DDR4 series delivers 11.2% faster speed compared to 2400-models. The series is also JEDEC compliant and runs on 1.2V, ensuring reliable performance with 20% lower power consumption than comparable DDR3 modules. Our DDR4 2666 module series are available in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and 32GB capacities. Form factors include UDIMM, MINI DIMM and SODIMM with the option of Very Low-profile (VLP) for space-constrained applications.
