What should I pay special attention to before installing and removing DDR5 DIMM?
Since DDR5 DIMMs feature an on-DIMM PMIC (Power Management Integrated Circuit), unlike previous generations, it is important to follow the correct procedure when installing or removing them. To help prevent possible damage to the motherboard or DIMM, be sure to fully power off the system by unplugging the AC power supply and allowing any residual power to fully discharge.
