To meet the growing demands of IoT and fleet management, Innodisk is launching the J1939-standard CANbus expansion card EMUC-B202. J1939 is a higher-level set of protocols that outlines the communication between different devices in a vehicle. The J1939 standard is based on the CAN 2.0B specification with CANbus baud rate of 250Kb/s and is aimed at heavy-duty applications.

The rugged EMUC-B202 CANbus expansion card offers wide temperature and isolation features and comes with software support through dedicated API, testing tool and sample code for both Windows and Linux for a smoother system integration. Our dedicated API supports both CAN 2.0B and J1939.

EMUC-B202 can be installed via mPCIe or USB pin header and features ESD protection, wide temp and galvanic isolation, as well as support for SocketCAN.

J1939 CANbus expansion card solution’s robust nature and makes it suitable for a wide array of applications, including military and industrial in-vehicle systems and marine navigation systems.
