The EMP2-X801 is a PCIe 2.0 compliant expansion card supporting configurable RS-232 / 422 / 485 modes with data rates from 4800 to 3Mbps (RS-232 at 921.6Kbps) and 256-byte FIFOs. It features industrial-grade temperature support (-40°C to 85°C) and comes with an 8-port daughterboard (DB-9 connectors) for flexible design. The card offers jumper settings for termination resistors and 5V / 12V outputs, with built-in ESD protection to safeguard against system damage. With a 30μ” golden finger and a 3-year warranty, it is designed and manufactured by Innodisk Taiwan.
