User-friendly tool for efficient SSD and DRAM management and maintenance
iSMART is a proprietary software developed to access the S.M.A.R.T. attributes of Innodisk’s SSD devices and DRAM modules. The software gives the user full access to all S.M.A.R.T.-related data as well as the ability to monitor additional parameters through a simple and user-friendly interface. Additionally, S.M.A.R.T. attributes can be exported and further analyzed to gain a comprehensive picture of SSD and DRAM health and status.
When activated, the iAnalyzer tab displays the read/write behaviors of the SSD in real time. This allows the user to understand their application usage of the SSD. Sequential and random I/Os are easily broken down into smaller and more comprehensible units.
iAnalyer / iSecurity
The integrated iAnalyzer function enables the user to gain a full picture of SSD usage, while iSecurity allows the user to execute security erase functions.
The alert tab helps the user set trigger points for temperature, health percentage, remaining capacity, and life remaining. If these trigger points exceed their boundaries, the iSMART utility can send a warning to the user, notifying them of any issues.
Provides API and support for multiple OSs
Innodisk understands that customer applications are varied. Therefore, iSMART supports both Windows and Linux OSs, and provides an API to help customers integrate iSMART into their system.
iSMART eliminates the need to physically access the DRAM module to ascertain device info by providing DRAM information in an easily-accessible way. Information such as P/N, data transfer rate, capacity, data code, etc. are all made available to the user.
- The user-friendly interface makes it easy to monitor SSD and DRAM health status and manage settings.
- iSecurity, write protect switch, and iAnalyzer. One-press design to help customers easily send commands.
- Email alert function that helps customers keep track of their SSD and DRAM status anytime, anywhere.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1.Does iSMART support other brands of SSDs?
iSMART only supports reading of basic SMART attributes for non-Innodisk SSDs, as in temperature and power-on hours.
Q2.Why are the SMART attributes not the same?
Different controllers will have different SMART settings, which means the attributes displayed might be different.
Q3.Why do I get an error message saying I can’t open iSMART?
As iSMART uses ATA command it needs to be run as an administrator to open it.
