Warranty Policy
 

1.Warranty Territory
InnoDisk Corporation guarantees that all InnoDisk manufactures undergo absolute Quality Control testing before making the delivery; defectiveness of raw material and production are completely avoided. Repair or replacement of defective manufactures, caused by any man-made error or flawed material, will be offered under following circumstances.

Two-Years (2-yr) Warranty
Free of charge on examination, repair, and parts

F. FiD 2.5”& 1.8” ATA/SATA MLC Series
One-Year (1-yr) Warranty
Free of charge on examination, repair, and parts

G. EzDup-5000: Duplicator 
Life Time Warranty
Free of charge on examination, repair, and parts

.H. i-DIMM Series: Industrial DRAM Series
(* The abovementioned are for the defective manufactures caused by non man-made error)


3.Definition of Duration of the Warranty
InnoDisk manufactures will be free from defects based on conditions and duration mentioned above from the date of initial purchase. Invoices or Shipping Document must be presented when claiming Warranty. If such document cannot be presented, the manufacture date would be considered the 1st day of Warranty Duration.

4.Repair and Replacement Guidelines
A.Repair Repairs would be provided with free of charge if the same defectiveness occurs to the repaired manufactures within 30 days of the initial repairs.
B.Replacement InnoDisk manufactures are entitled to the right of getting repaired or replaced within Duration of the Warranty. Similar or same specification items and components would be applied in the first place.

5.The Warranty is NOT subject to following conditions within the Duration of Warranty
A. Manufactures were mishandled and damage was caused by improper usages prohibited in the manual.
B. Any kind of damage was caused by Natural Disaster, such as flood, conflagration, earthquake, lightening, typhoon, etc., Actions of Intent, such as bumping, hammering, etc., Computer Malfunction, or other abnormal usages.
C. Any kind of damage was caused by any repair or modification by any other than InnoDisk-authorized or InnoDisk-approved components or personnel.
D.Any kind of damage was caused by the computer virus, or during the process of virus cure.
E. Any kind of damage was resulted from physical/electronic/electromagnetic pressure and interference, unstable or misused power supply, lightening and static electricity, flame or other act of God, etc.
F. Any kind of damage was caused by exposure to improper environments, such as high temperature, high humidity, etc.
G. Any kind of damage was caused by mishandling during the transportation to InnoDisk for repair.
H. Any kind of damage was caused by any research or development usage or professional testing/examination.
I. InnoDisk does NOT warrant, and shall NOT be responsible for any loss of data/software stored or installed in any manufacture, including returned units, regardless of the cause of the loss.

6.Standard Procedure of Claiming the Service
A. RMA Service: Please send FAX or EMAIL to InnoDisk Sales Department regarding the detail of
defectiveness to get the authorized RMA number. After filling out the RMA request form, with ship-to address and contact information specified, indicating the RMA number on the packing of the parcel, and covering the one-way freight and insurance (optional), InnoDisk Sales Department must receive RMA within 30 days after the RMA number is released.

B. RMA Charge: InnoDisk RMA Department will check the mechanical appearance and man-made damage in 3 working days after receiving RMA items. A maintenance offer will be provided to clients and the decision of acceptance or rejection must be received within 3 days, or deemed to have waived the right.
7. Product Change Notice (PCN) / Product End Of Life (EOL)
A. InnoDisk shall make an announcement in 3-month advance regarding any modification of hardware/software of InnoDisk manufactures, for replacement of essential component, or enhancing the performance, etc.
B. Clients can still place orders during the period of receiving the notice and the termination of the item.

REMARKS
1. InnoDisk is obligated to provide service, but the related cost of replacing material and components will be charged if the Duration and Object of the Warranty does NOT apply. Please refer to InnoDisk for further detail regarding the charge.
2. InnoDisk is obligated to provide service, but the Maintenance department would make the final decision on repairing the RMA with the same or more advanced replacement.
3. Please refer to InnoDisk for further detail if the defective manufactures have phased out or if the replacing material is out of stock.
4. The Warranty is invalid when InnoDisk sticker or logo is removed or damaged in anyway beyond identification.
5. This Warranty Policy covers InnoDisk manufactures with defectiveness or components that need to be replaced.
6. This Warranty Policy is effective to all InnoDisk manufactures shipped out after 1st May, 2005

FREE OF OBLIGATION POLICY
InnoDisk Corporation does NOT provide service under circumstances other than mentioned previously in the Warranty Policy, nor does NOT carry any other implicit, explicit, or subsidiary obligation in the Warranty Policy. Please refer to, and only to, the Warranty Policy for InnoDisk Corporation service obligation; the Warranty Policy is over any other promise in oral or written form. The Warranty Policy does NOT cover any random, extraordinary, or direct/indirect damage comes along with the manufactures, even InnoDisk Corporation has been notified the possibility of such damage. All actions of repair, replacement, or refund by InnoDisk Corporation are entitled to fulfill the promise indicated under the Warranty Policy.
