InnoDisk Corporation announces first PCI Express in the industry, PCIe DOM.

In 2009 Innodisk Corp’s NANO SSD was awarded by Computext with the Best Choice Award. Following 2010 InnoDisk Corporation will be the first, in the industrial field, to release, in Taipei Computex, the world’s smallest PCI Express with user interface insertion, PCIe DOM.

The existing PCIe devices normally are relied on the connection with a tailgate of the system for installation and thus there would be a limitation of system design. Moreover, thanks to the placement of tailgates, PCIe slots on the mother board needs to be placed along on the edge of the board, which limits flexible designs.
